London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Unfortunately at some time in our life we will be impacted by cancer, however you expect it in older people. To have a nephew fight cancer like a boss (coming up to 7 years in remission 💙💪🏼) was more than enough for the family but for his little sister our niece Frankie in August 2021 to be diagnosed with Leukaemia was horrendous news. However like her brother, Frankie is fighting and fighting hard 💚💚. I couldn’t imagine the pain she is going through but I promised her, like I did for her brother, I would run the London marathon for a charity of her choice. Frankie chose Macmillan and so here I go.

I will also be doing other events to make sure you are getting your money’s worth. In June I did the London to Brighton bike ride.

I understand with everything going on in the world sponsoring is difficult so we appreciate any amount.

Thanks for supporting my fundraising.

At Macmillan, we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are our worries. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure..
