Erb's Palsy Group offers advice and information on the injury Erb's Palsy/Obstectric Brachial Plexus Paralysis. We do this by giving support to parents, adults and children, putting parents in contact with each other, newsletters and information leaflets and also holding annual events for families.

Thank you to all who have donated so far.  I completed the 1/2 marathon on 6th September in a time of 01:34:23.  If you'd still like to donate then that would be fantastic.  The reason behind the chosen charity is detailed below.  Thanks so much!

I thought if I was going to be daft and run this half-marathon on 6th September, I may as well do it for a decent reason other than totally exhausting myself and collapsing in a heap! :-)

Erb’s Palsy is something that's really close to our heart as a family.  Our wee 6 month old daughter Chloe was born with Brachial Plexus Paralysis (Erb’s Palsy) due to trauma that occurred during birth.  We were obviously worried sick when we were told by the doctor, and had never heard of this condition before, but it basically meant that she had no movement in her left arm (and little movement in her hand and fingers) due to nerve damage in her shoulder.

Over the past few months, through a routine of daily exercises and regular physio (and lots of prayer!), things have gradually improved.  Chloe is now moving her little arm about like nobody’s business and is close to a full recovery.  Others have not been so fortunate and have to live and cope with the condition for life, so any donation that you could make to help them and their families would be fantastic!
