We support disabled people to live valued lives in the community

Story

So the SVC staff team have put down the biscuits and dusted off our walking boots to walk 27 miles in aid of Innovate Trust.

As part of National Volunteering Week, the SVC staff Team are taking a day of annual leave with the aim of raising some money. All money donated will be used to support adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions to develop skills and confidence, helping them to live independent lives in their local communities.

On Thursday 9th June we will be walking from Merthyr to Cardiff with some colleagues from Innovate Trust, additionally some beneficiaries will be supporting us along the way too! We’re aiming to walk from dusk to dawn, so anything you can spare will help us to keep going!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, any donations made are massively appreciated!
