Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team attend incidents that are remote from the roadside where the normal emergency services are unable to operate. They provide rescue services in a wide range of scenarios, from climbers stuck on the sheer North Face of Ben Nevis, to canoeists trapped in steep sided gorges.

All of LMRT are unpaid voluteers who sacrifice their time and safety to help others.
