Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

 Last year when Pete did the GNR, it took me three and a half hours to get from Newcastle to South Shields on the Metro and I said that I'd have to do the run next year because it'd be quicker on foot. Then I conveniently forgot this promise. Having done the Great Manchester 10k I was humbled by all the people raising money for their charities. I realised that saying i might do it "one day" was one thing, but that day wouldn't come unless I gripped life by the horns and went for it.

So... I'm not a natural athlete. 10k was the limit of my exertions. Until now. So if I'm doing this for a great cause the least you can do is make a donation. Go on...
