Suki's Vamoosh Violinathon · 1 August 2021

We change children’s lives every day by pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment in a comfortable & engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children & young people, funding projects that are over & above the standard NHS provision.

Story

Hello, my name is Suki and I am eight years old and a pupil at Westways Primary School and Sheffield Music Academy. Thanks for taking the time to visit my dad's JustGiving page which I am using for my fundraiser.

I really love to play the Violin 🎻 and I enjoy practicing a lot, but I also like to have big goals. I really hope to get something even more positive out of playing my Violin by doing a fundraiser for Sheffield Children's Hospital. I have thought of a challenge to play all 34 pieces from my absolute favourite Violin book, Vamoosh 2 which will take about one hour for a live streamed event on Sunday the 4th of July.  I already know a lot of the pieces but some of them are quite tricky and the challenge will be to learn them all by then and then to play all of them together during one event.  Updates on my practice for the event will be put here every few days! In fact I have already started preparing for it! I am nervous but excited!

I would like to fundraise for The Children's Hospitals Charity.  Sheffield Children's Hospital have looked after me, my brother and sister so many times in the past. They even saved my sister's life once a few years ago and I would like to say thank you to them.
