Please join me with the Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation and the Sacramento Children's Home to fundraise for the 7th annual Sacramento Century Challenge on Saturday, October 3rd. This ride has something for everyone. The Sac Century offers four different distances: 100/63/36/16 miles. All rides start and finish on Capitol Mall, where everyone can enjoy our fun post-ride festival with great food, live music and wine and beer. Our 2020 beneficiary the Sacramento Children's Home Crisis Nursery which protects our communitys most vulnerable children by offering a safe, supportive environment during times of crisis with two locations in Sacramento. The Crisis Nursery provides free, 24 hour emergency child care for children from birth to age five. The Crisis Nursery reduces incidents of child abuse and decreases family violence by offering a safe place for children and support services to adults. The Crisis Nursery spares children from trauma and strengthens families.
