The Summer Fields community is very fortunate to live on the doorstep of the University Parks, the location of the original Town and Gown run. In 2019, the run was awarded the 'Best 10k in South East England' by the Running Awards. 

Now in its 41st year, the run is organised by the charity Muscular Dystrophy UK whose work helps the 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions, providing vital information and support to help people live as independently as possible. They are making a difference for tomorrow, accelerating progress in research and driving the campaign for access to emerging treatments. 

The school is happy to pay the entry fee for all the boys taking part as part of our charitable donation to Muscular Dystrophy UK. Over the last 5 years, we have raised over £15,000 through sponsorship of the boys and adults who ran. It would be terrific if we could add even more this year, any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated.
