Event: The big QMC Abseil 2019, on 21 September 2019

Story

Facing one of my biggest fears in life, I will be abseiling down the QMC hospital where my beautiful baby boy, my bestie and my son, Super George, has been saved so many times.

Without the real life superheroes at QMC in NICU & PICU, George Arthur wouldn’t be here today.

Having just celebrated his 2nd birthday, 25 operations down, this is my way of saying thank you and marking another milestone of him being alive.

I am proud to be abseiling with fellow NICU mummy friends Tania and Sarah. We started our journey together, and have a bond that is unbreakable.

Together, two years on from when we first met, we shall conquer this challenge. Down the very building we met and shared many tears and smiles together, as we all tried to inch closer to the final door out of intensive care. Thank you ladies, for everything.

And,  if you have read this far, yet again, on another of my fundraising pages, then a huge thank you ❤️

Love Soph & Super George xXx
