Nystagmus means involuntary movements of the eye. It impairs vision, affecting focus and depth perception. At least 1 in 1,000 babies are born with nystagmus. There is currently no cure. The Nystagmus Network is a UK registered charity which provides support, raises awareness and funds research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Nystagmus is a complex eye condition characterised by involuntary eye moments. The Nystagmus Network is a UK based charity which supports people affected by the condition and leads the research into finding a treatment

In summer 2017, Adam Lerwill, Darren Milsom, Gavin Bowden & Josh Taylor from Surf Bay Leisure will be embarking on a great challenge to cycle the entire length of Britain from John O' Groats to Land's End.
The team will be raising as much money along the way for the chosen charities.

- Devon Air Ambulance Trust
- Nystagmus Network
- Macmillan Cancer Support

What better way to celebrate 3 of the group turning 40 in 2017 than sitting on an uncomfortable saddle all day every day!

In 13 days they will notch up over 1000 miles and climb over 50,000ft - (almost double the height of Mt.Everest!!)

We will be departing from the very tip of Scotland on June 25th 2017 and making our way down through Britain until we arrive at Land's End on Saturday, July 8th.

The Surf Bay Leisure team would like to thank you for any donation large or small to whichever charity you have chosen, we greatly appreciate your contribution.
