Diabetes is now recognised worldwide a serious health issue World Diabetes Day is on 14th November  officially acknowledged a United Nations Day which members states are encouraged to observe in order to develop national policies for the prevention treatment and care of diabetes.I have been patient with Type 2 diabtes for the last sixteen years and have been activily engaged to raise the awareness of the condition .Diabetes UK mission to improve the lives of people with diabetes and work towards a future without diabetes.

I will take part together with  some friends and members of my family in eight mile walk across iconic London Bridges on Sunday 13th November to raise more awarness of the Condition
