Story

This is my 17th marathon and after an ankle injury last year thwarted my plans at London I’m back again. Not as fit as previous marathons but as the starting line without injury. I raised over
two thousand pound last year ( thanks to the generosity of others) for The Stroke Association so after a Xmas Eve run I’ve left the fund raising opportunity to others this year. If you can spare any change however small it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sure our friend will have been following our progress this year wishing our 20 club runners the best of luck. Andrew was 46 when he died suddenly of a stroke in 2016 and it has really made our club appreciate every step we take and never take our running for granted. This one is for you Andrew, a friend we all sadly miss x
