Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money for Children's Hospice South West, a fantastic charity that provides hospice care for children with life-limiting illnesses. I'm aiming to raise £500, which would be enough to fund one of the charity's Remembering Days for bereaved families or all the materials needed for a messy room for a year.

It's not going to be a free ride for me. I'm taking part in the Ride for Precious Lives, a 200 mile bike ride that links the charity's three hospices in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. Over three days we will visit each of the hospices, and cycle through some stunning but "undulating" scenery. Think lots of big hills!

So I've invested in some well-padded cycling shorts and have been busy training in the hilly terrain around Bristol. I still have a long way to go though, and any sponsorship you can donate will give me the extra motivation I'll need when my legs and lungs start to give up.

Please give whatever you can, and remember to tick the Gift Aid box to allow Children's Hospice South West to reclaim the tax on your donation.

Thank you for your support!

Susan
