I've been lucky enough to get a place in the MacMillan Charity Race at York Races, which will take place on 11th June 2016. I've set myself a target of raising £6,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support in return for this privilege. It is going to take a lot of hard work to get physically fit and prepared for the challenge of race riding. It's also massively daunting thinking I'll have to race a thoroughbred down the Knavesmire in front of over 25,000 people, but it's a challenge I can't wait to take on!

Last year's race day raised over £400,000 and I am asking for your support to try and raise even more in 2016 for such a worthy cause.

I'll be doing all sorts to try and raise money from now until June 2016,  and any donations will be most gratefully received.
