The story

Hi there!

I run a fan site for actor Damien Molony and a fan page for the UK TV Show Suspects in appreciation of a talented actor and a critically acclaimed TV crime drama.

Suspects is a British crime television series produced by Newman Street Productions, part of Fremantle Media, for UK broadcaster Channel 5. It is fictionalised drama, but police advisers are involved in the creation of the programme. The storylines reflect real issues and crimes facing the police today and highlight the ordeals of the victims of those crimes, many of whom are children and young people.

Having worked with young people in support, advice information and counselling roles I've seen firsthand the issues that affect them as victims of crime. Suspects has inspired me further to raise awareness of and help fundraise for a charity offering specialist support to these young people.

If, like me, you enjoy Suspects but would also like to help make a difference to the lives of the children and young people affected by crime in real life, please make a donation to this very worthy charity and help us raise as much as possible!

Thank you.......

About Embrace CVOC

Embrace CVOC is the only charity in the UK that focuses solely on supporting young victims of crime. They provide practical and emotional support to help those up to the age of 18 recover from life-changing crime.  Often those traumatised by crime - directly or indirectly - need help to ‘move on' and restore self-esteem. Sadly, they are often forgotten. The charity offers peer group support for young victims of crime and their families, individual counselling therapy, personal grants, experience days, family breaks (UK and Disney) and ‘cheer up’ gifts; including tickets to the UK’s most popular theme parks.

Chloe Swift, Fundraising and Marketing Manager for Embrace CVOC said: "We're so grateful to all of our supporters like the Damien Molony Forum who are helping to raise funds for our charity. Embrace CVOC provides a range of practical and emotional support for child victims of crime which is vital for their recovery. Last year we helped over 1,000 children, and as the saying goes, every little helps, so thanks to fundraisers like yourselves and all who take part in this fantastic donation incentive, we'll be able to help many more young victims of crime!"
