Bath Half Marathon 2020 · 15 March 2020 ·
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity that provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Wiltshire and surrounding counties. It needs to raise £3.75m a year to continue saving lives, but is not directly funded by the Government and receives no National Lottery funding, so relies on generous public donations.
Our Son,Josh passed away suddenly on 3rd March 2018.The Wiltshire Air Ambulance tried so hard to bring him back to us and as a family we can not thank them enough.
I will be 50 next year and 3 days later it will be the 2nd Anniversary of Josh's passing.I promised my Boy I will keep his memory alive and I intend to do just that.
Mile 12 of the Bath Half Marathon will be emotional as both my Boys cheered me on in 2014 when I ran it for Cardiomyopathy.
Any amount will make a difference to The Air Ambulance so please if you can donate I would be so grateful .The Deakin family appreciate every single person who has supported us since Josh passed away ❤ #runforjosh #always
