Great North Run 2016 · 11 September 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Great North Run this year, on behalf of NEL Fund Managers, to raise money for The Prince's Trust to help support the development of the next generation of regional entrepreneurs.

Celebrating its 40th year this year, The Prince's Trust supports 13-30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives through a wide range of different programmes and activities. This year, the charity will aim to support 59,000 young people across the UK, with three in four young people moving into work, education or training.

NEL have forged a long term partnership with The Trust and will be supporting it's regional activities through a range of practical initiatives, designed to have a positive impact on the young people with whom The Trust works by enhancing their knowledge of how businesses operate.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
