At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I'm making a splash and taking on Swim for Dementia. 900,000 people are currently living with dementia across the UK. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society is here for everyone affected. Wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Your donations will keep me going so please hit the Give Now button and donate what you can to help beat dementia. Thank you!

I never thought this cruel disease would come for our family and how hard it is. And how it makes you realise how important your family and friends are. I started swimming just before my mum got diagnosed and it’s become my coping mechanism. And if I can do that and raise money to prevent this in the future. In a helpless situation I feel I’m doing something.
