Story
This September, I’m taking on the Swim for Dementia challenge. I’ll be swimming 15 miles in 30 days to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
Dementia affects so many people and their loved ones. My motivation is deeply personal my little Jack Russell, Eddie, is living with dementia. I know this fundraiser is for people, not dogs, but seeing what Eddie goes through makes me even more determined to help make a difference for anyone facing it. One of my closest friends mum is currently suffering with dementia and other friends who have lost family members from it, which makes this cause even closer to my heart.
Why 15 miles? Eddie is 15 years old, so it felt like the perfect target: one mile for every year he’s been my partner in crime🐶
Every donation, big or small, will spur me on to keep going💪💪
If you’d like to support me and this amazing cause, please donate and share this page. Together, let’s make a splash against dementia💙
