My name is Helena. I'm a Mother, Navy Veteran, and Head Coach for Girls on the run Kitsap Lake Elementary! My dream is to run the 7 Abbott World Major Marathons! Meeting my fundraiser goal would earn my bib for Sydney, Australia 2026!

For me, this isn’t just miles on pavement. It’s memory. It’s love. It’s showing up for families who live with this every day.

One of my parents lived with dementia before passing away when I was very young, and my grandmother is currently navigating life with dementia as well. Watching people you love slowly slip away while still physically here is a kind of heartbreak that stays with you.
