We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As some of you will be aware, various US and Bermuda-based folks have raised funds for a cancer charity called St Baldrick's via shaving their heads. One of our Bermudans has finally decided to stop, but challenged the UK Underwriting team to take over. Sadly Dave & Nick are away, but Andy, Nate, Tino and Tom have agreed and managed to pursuade Ed, our claims guy to join in too! For some this will be a greater loss than for others.

We don't have St Baldrick's in the UK, so have selected the Teenage Cancer Trust as its best equivalent. Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ This is the only charity dedicated to making this happen. Please check out their website.

TMR has kindly agreed to match donations up to our £3,000 target, and Tom has rashly offered his eyebrows should that amount be exceeded.

We will circulate photos both beforehand and afterwards, and will also be in touch to confirm a location should you wish to come and watch.

 Many thanks in advance,

Andy, Ed, Nate, Tino & Tom
