Story

Hi guys!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

You're used to my crazy sporting fund-raising antics by now.... :) this time it's swimming 2.5 km in one of the classic London lidos - endearingly known as Brixton’s Beach - Brockwell Lido is one of London’s few remaining outdoor, unheated swimming pools.

More used to being tossed about in the river or the sea, I will be feeling rather like a fish in an aquarium as I swim up and down the pool lanes! Sadly that may be the only place that many species of fish, corals and other marine life will one day be seen if we don't help save marine environments and their inhabitants - so that is why I am swimming and with your help we can help ZSL to protect aquatic animals and their habitats. I was inspired by the magic of swimming with manta ray swirling around me in a nocturnal ballet and I want to help protect them and so many others in their environment where they belong.

Thank you for always being there so generously as I splash through water, run through mud or fall from the skies... it's always for the cause closest to my heart and so important to this planet - our incredible wildlife and the environment that they MUST be able to keep as their own.
