Members of Harwich Town Council will be holding a sponsored walk for The Alzheimer's Society on Sunday 21st September 2025.

Knowing people personally and close to my heart who are suffering with this and others that have sadly lost loved ones, this means so much to me.

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health and social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 1 million people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.
