Story

Thank you for supporting Reading to Kids!

This is my 4th year running the LA Marathon for Reading to Kids!

As a teacher, I know the importance of reading with kid and making sure they have access to a variety of books. Reading to Kids volunteers at several schools in the LA area. I volunteered on a Saturday and it was an amazing day! I read with kids, we did a craft and kids went home with a new book! So awesome!

Running the LA Marathon for Reading to Kids will help provide books for students! I am proud to run for this great organization and support the good work that they do. Thank you for supporting me and Reading to Kids with your donation!

About the charity

Reading to Kids holds reading clubs on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 8 Los Angeles elementary schools. At the monthly reading clubs, pairs of volunteers read aloud to small groups of children. Kids, parents, teachers, & school libraries receive book donations at the end of the reading clubs.
