This year I am taking part in the Action Cancer Bra Walk to raise funds for vital breast screening services in Northern Ireland.  Our family is all too familiar with the importance of these screening services. Several close family members have faced this disease and not all have been fortunate enough to still be here with us today. This past year has been a difficult one for my family with my aunt being diagnosed with breast cancer in early January 2018. But thanks to early detection through a mammogram she is now cancer free and ready to walk beside me. 

I understand for a lot of people donating to charity can be a financial strain but every penny counts and every £80 provides a mammogram that could save a life.
