Brooks 10km Brighton · 20 November 2016

The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only day centre service for young people experiencing homelessness in Brighton and Hove. We provide practical support as well as information, advice and guidance to help young people break away from homelessness and move towards a brighter future.

Story

Bestens Brewery, based in Sussex, created Team Bestens as a way to bring people together to have fun and raise awareness for inspiring local charities and initiatives.

The Team Bestens runners will be pounding the 10km course at the Brooks Brighton 10km.  Team member and Bestens Brewery Co-Founder, Paul Swaffield, will be running his 10km on a treadmill before the event as he is unavailable on the day, but not ready to drop out of the challenge!

We are aiming to raise over £200 for The Clock Tower Sanctuary, a Brighton based drop-in-service for homeless people aged 16 -25.  This amount of money will pay for a volunteer to be trained in supporting young homeless people.

Last winter The Clock Tower Sanctuary supported over 1000 visits by homeless young people who had nowhere to call home.
