Our team “The DaviBroons” (Denise & Zander Brown and Stephanie & Liam Davidson) are running the Edinburgh Marathon as part of the Hairy Haggis Relay on Sunday 26th May. We’re raising funds for SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) who do such a fantastic job at raising awareness and helping people with Mental Health problems. Currently 1 in 4 people in Scotland suffer from mental health issues which is a frightening amount, it’s an illness that doesn’t discriminate - it doesn’t matter what you’re social status is, how much money you have or how wonderful you’re family is, once it gets a grip it’s very hard to get out of. We need to do so much more to help people who are suffering and get rid of this stigma that still even now surrounds it and that’s something the SAMH are doing such a great job of. So please help us raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity!
