Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Freckleton half marathon on 22nd June 2014, in memory of my grandad, Peter Frost. He was president of the Freckleton club day sports committee before he passed away 10 years ago.

I've decided to raise money for Heartbeat, as this was the charity that supported my grandad after his heart transplant in the 1980s. Heartbeat is a Preston based charity that provides cardiac rehabilitation, support, information and advice for those, and their families, that have suffered heart attacks or have had heart surgery.  Heartbeat is committed to fight to reduce the impact of coronary heart disease in all communities in the north west.

Please help me to raise money for Heartbeat as you never know when you, or someone you love and care for might need a service like this. They certainly helped my Grandad when he needed it.

Thanks Keri xx
