Memory Walk 2018
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Hi,  my name is Sarah Park,

I am 39 years YOUNG, happily married with two beautiful children and I have just been diagnosed with Young onset Alzheimers.

I lost my Dad (40 yrs) and Grandma due to early onset dementia and whilst all this is upsetting and devastating I wish to make the best of my situation and be positive, therefore I want to raise money for research to help find a cure for this horrible disease.  Although I will most likely not benefit from any future treatment, I want to contribute to finding a cure for people with dementia in the near future, whilst I still can, which is why I’m supporting Alzheimer’s Society.

I am starting small with a Memory walk in Manchester but I am hoping to train up and carry out many more fundraising events in the near future.
