Story

Every year we have great pleasure in getting everyone motivated to run the well organised Great Bristol 10K in aid of Cavell Nurses on Sunday 5th May

This year is no exception and is a great incentive to get up, get out and take part in this fantastic annual event

Starting on Anchor Road near Millennium Square and Bristol Cathedral it runs parallel to the historic Bristol Harbour before continuing along Avon Gorge and taking in the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge. The return route takes in Spike Island and the Cumberland Basin before passing the soaring Gothic St Mary Redcliffe, finishing on Anchor Road close to the start line so that runners can meet up with family and friends and make the most of the bars, restaurants and attractions at the Harbourside.

Each year we have been gifted with fantastic weather and amazing support along the way.  To date our team has raised over £4100 in past 2 years and 2019 marks our 6th consecutive year of taking part in the Bristol 10K which is a key date in the South West's sporting calendar.

As always we are calling out to all friends and family to support our team as they undertake the 6.2 mile course which takes in many of the city's iconic landmarks.

Cavell Nurses' Trust are here for UK Nurses, Midwives and HCAs, whether working or retired, with money and support when they are living through personal or financial hardship, often because of illness, domestic abuse, disability, working poverty and older age.Put simply, we’re ‘Here for Nurses’.

We thank you in advance for all your support.
