Yorkshire Three Peaks 2019 · 29 June 2019 ·
Cancer will affect 1 in 3 people in their lifetimes. For many people, cancer will just be one chapter in an otherwise long and healthy life. Unfortunately, others will not be so lucky.
Marie Curie provide support for those who have terminal cancer. Their Nurses care for people in their home, when they need them most, day or night. They have nine hospices across the UK in Liverpool, London, Solihull, Cardiff, Bradford, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, providing round-the-clock, specialist care at the heart of communities. Last year, they provided support for more than 50,000 people across the UK.
This year we chose them to be Curtins´ registered charity.
On the 29th of June, eleven brave engineers (and some of their partners) will be climbing the three peaks of Yorkshire in the space of ten hours. For many this will be difficult. For some it will be incredibly difficult. However, it is all for a good cause.
Thank you in advance for anything you can give and for taking the time to read our story. It will be greatly received by those who need it most.
