Story
Inspired by Control Risks 40 at 40 funding initiative, a group initiated by IT will be raising money for Cancer Research UK to support our friends and loved ones who have battled, or are battling cancer, particularly Duncan Scott, our CIO. Duncan was diagnosed with Gliobastoma, grade IV brain cancer a few months ago and is currently going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Team Duncan, as we have called ourselves, will be taking part in Pretty Muddy in Windsor on Saturday 5th September. It is a 5k muddy obstacle course for women of all ages and abilities, it is not a timed contest, and all that really matters is fun and raising money for Cancer Research. Please read more about it here: http://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/types-of-event/pretty-muddy/index.html
Duncan will be there to cheer us on – pink T-shirt optional!
We want to support Duncan indirectly by raising as much money as we can for this great cause. You can help us achieve our goal by Donating through our page.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring us, we will beat cancer sooner.
