The Chestnut Tree House 10k Coastal Run · 15 September 2013 ·

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

Team Feakes et al (Karin Feakes, Hannah Feakes, Ross Feakes, Alec Feakes, Eloise Feakes, Emma Brookes, Dave Storey, Rebecca Storey, Sam Spink, Joanna Roberts, Jack Roberts, Chris Day and Andrew Brothwell) are taking on the mighty challenge of a 10k coastal run to raise £1000 (hopefully more!) for the brilliant Chestnut Tree House which is the only children's hospice in Sussex and does excellent work caring for children and young adults with progressive life limiting conditions.

The hospice costs almost £3 million per year to run. Families are never charged for their care and less than 8p in every pound is funded by the government, so they rely heavily on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex.

All donations, however great or small will be VERY gratefully received! THANK YOU! :)
