We offer caring bereavement support to adults, children/young people & families

Story

Walsall Bereavement Support Service (WBSS) is a local charity in the West Midlands providing hands on support for bereaved and vulnerable children, young people and families.

They also run a monthly specialist support group for adults bereaved as a result of suicide. Each year they work with hundreds of individuals of all ages who are struggling to cope with their bereavement.

By providing free, professional and confidential support, they help each person to understand their grief which in turn helps reduce the potentially negative impact it can have on their mental and physical wellbeing. In doing so WBSS know that they are helping to improve and change peoples lives and futures.

About the charity

WBSS supports bereaved adults, children, young people and their families who live in the Walsall Borough. We offer our support, irrespective of relationship to the person who died, how they died or how long ago they died. We also offer one to one and group support to adults bereaved by suicide.
