Story
Diane has landed a role hosting the Blood Cancer Walk of Light in Cannon Hill Park Birmingham on the evening of Saturday March 25th.
Blood Cancer UK research and support, and they are looking to beat leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and all types of blood cancer.
This Walk of Light is very personal to both of us, as we lost Dad, Michael Jeggo, to Multiple Myeloma, a type of Blood Cancer 5 years ago. We sadly have friends who are currently fighting their own battles, as well as a dear family friend recently diagnosed with leukemia.
We know times are tough, but if you could spare even a couple of pounds, say the price of a coffee or a beer, this would be most appreciated. Help us beat Blood Cancer.
Blood Cancer UK is a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. They do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, they've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, this community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
