The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving Page.

Team Phoenix is a Midland’s based team comprised of 14 employees from Capgemini who are engaged in the 2017 Million Makers Challenge. This entrepreneurial competition sees teams from businesses across the UK vie to raise £10,000 for the Prince’s Trust over a period of 6 months.

The Prince’s Trust is a youth-based charity which helps people ages 11-30 into education, training and work. In doing so, the Prince’s Trust and the young people they have supported have returned £1.4 billion in benefits to society over the last 10 years. Since its inception in 1976, the Prince’s Trust has assisted 825,000 young people and continues to support over a 100 more each day.

Inspired by this opportunity to give back, Team Phoenix is focusing on planning fun and challenging fundraising events which encourage community spirit and participation in both the Telford area and the workplace - we want everybody to take part!

Since the beginning of the Million Makers Challenge, 6,000 volunteers and 500 teams have worked hard to raise £8.2 Million for the Prince’s Trust. As 2017 is both the 10th Anniversary of the Million Makers Challenge and the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Capgemini, Team Phoenix are committed to making it even more special by helping the Prince’s Trust achieve their £10,000,000 fundraising goal!
