Recently I visited the NSPCC Hargreaves Centre in Liverpool and I was very lucky to be shown around their call centre where their fantastic volunteers take Childline calls in shifts. I was given a tour of the rooms where they have sessions with children and parents who are being supported by their services. 

It was wonderful and humbling to see and hear about the amazing things being done for the children and families in the most need across the UK. It was also heartbreaking and sobering to hear how many calls they receive are high risk and the gravity of the situation for some children and families out there. SO I wanted to do something to support them and I knew Telcom would want to get involved too. 

I reached out to my fellow colleagues and very quickly had a team of us up for the challenge to raise some money and do take on the Tough Mudder 2022 #TeamTelcom with our registration sponsored by Telcom. 

We have some of us doing the 10k and some us doing the 5k challenge but of course we need everyones support to get to our target of £2700 for the NSPCC! Participating in the run is Lewis Ennew, John Roderick, Sam Foster, Jacob Nicholson, Chris Ganz, Edward McCabe, Bob Bunting, Jonny Morris and Lucy McDougall.
