Story
This May, I’ll be walking 100 Miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now – the UK’s leading breast cancer charity. 💗
This challenge is deeply personal to me because breast cancer is not just a statistic — it affects real people, real families, and real lives. In just 31 days, almost 1000 people in the UK will lose their lives to this disease. They are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends, colleagues, and loved ones.
As a doctor, I’ve seen how devastating illness can be, not only physically but emotionally for patients and their families. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to take on this challenge — to do my little part in supporting the incredible work being done through research, support services, and awareness.
Every pound raised will help fund life-saving research and provide life-changing support to those living with breast cancer and the people who care for them.
So this May, every mile I walk is for someone fighting, someone surviving, and someone we’ve lost. 🎀
Every mile matters. Every pound counts.
I’d truly appreciate your support as I go the distance for Breast Cancer Now. 💕
