Cancer came into my life when I was diagnosed with early breast cancer in June 2013. Since then four more people I know have been diagnosed - three of them with breast cancer and they are still fighting and having treatment. I am lucky enough to have finished my treatment and am grateful for the care and expertise I received. 

I am taking part in Race for Life with my three daughters, Laura, Sarah and Shannon as part of a team, 'Pretty in Pink', with some friends from DWG because I want to raise funds to support the important research into prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
