Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Blandford & District branch of the Royal British Legion were to hold a sponsored walk of 101 circuits of the Mill down Nature Reserve on Sunday 17th July at 10:00am, to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal, however due to the extreme heat conditions forecast for that day it has been decided for safety reasons to postpone the walk.

The Blandford 101 Poppy Walk will now take place on Sunday 11th September starting at 10:00am at the Mill Down Nature Reserve. Each circuit is just short of 1mile. and some of the participants will be in fancy dress. The participants will range from 7 years old to shall we say a lot older!!!

The reason its is 101 circuits is because last year as part of the Dorset RBL 100 challenge we completed 100 circuits. The Legions support for our Armed Forces past and present and their families needs funds all year round to be able to provide help and support to our armed forces family when they need it most. Please help us to help them.

Please support our venture, or come and join us.
