I'm riding a full stage of Tour of CA this year (100 miles) to raise awareness for Breakaway from Cancer and for Prevent Cancer Foundation, a Breakaway from Cancer charity partner.

My sister, mother and father-in-law have all been impacted by cancer. My father-in-law died of leukemia 3 and a half years ago. Most recently my sister had radical surgery to help with her cure for breast cancer but there are so many avenues being researched so that future cancer survivors may not have to go through difficult procedures to seek a cure.
