Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. On Monday 10th October a team of Thakeham employees will ride 50 miles from our Head Office in Billingshurst to our Thames Valley Office in Wokingham, visiting three community businesses along the way.

Plunkett is a UK-wide charity that supports rural
community-owned businesses. From community-owned shops, pubs and libraries, to farms, woodlands and bookshops, across the country rural communities are coming together to set up and run community-owned businesses that provide an essential service for the local area. A community-owned business is a lifeline to the people it serves. In areas where digital connectivity is unstable; transport services are limited and employment opportunities are sparse, a community-owned business is able to directly address those difficulties while also helping to tackle isolation and loneliness and promote positive wellbeing.
