For a very long time we have wanted to do something that would challenge us mentally and physically but also make some of kind of change, a difference, no matter how small, to somebody other than ourselves. Carly's dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's and she has seen first hand the devastation it causes. Her dad is an unbelievable man, a kind, funny, generous and loving man. An amazing father. If by raising money we can help stop somebody else's loved one suffering from Parkinson's then completing a tough mudder is nothing. A day of exhaustion pales in comparison to what Parkinson's takes away from people. Ultimately I hope one day whatever we, I, can do now will help somebody else's future.
