Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A team of around 20 staff (Male & Female) from The Chelmsford are walking 13.5 miles on a route around Mersea Island, Colchester, in memory of a dear colleague and friend, Roger. We are raising money and awareness for CALM under the Heads Together umbrella

CALM are an award-winning charity who are dedicated to preventing male suicide, in 2015 75% of all UK suicides were male. The charity offers; support to men in the UK of any age, challenge a culture that prevents men seeking the help they need, work for other charities to push for changes in policy and practice and support those bereaved by suicide.

We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and showing life is always worth living.125 lives are lost every week to suicide. 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
