A team from The Insurance Emporium is taking part in the Micklegate Run Soapbox Challenge and raising money for the excellent charity, Dogs for Good. We’ll be pushing our very own soapbox racer down a six-metre ramp and over a variety of obstacles in hopes of getting the fastest time. If that’s not scary enough, we’ll be doing it in front of a crowd of 20,000 people!

Dogs for Good trains assistance dogs to help people with physical
disabilities and children with autism. They also train and support community dogs and specialist handlers, who work in activity and therapy within schools and communities. As well as training working canines, the charity operates a Family Dog team that advises and supports parents of children with autism with choosing and training a dog.
