Story

In October 2010, Fields of Life invited a group of men, to go to Uganda to witness first hand the challenges and poverty the people of East Arica face on a daily basis. The team, consisted of 8 men, all from Northern Ireland. They were: David Johnston; local farmers James Martin and Robert Anderson; Neville Woods from Supervalu; Niall Irwin from Irwin’s Bakery; Raymond Donnelly and Malcolm Kerr from Donnelly Group; and Richard Moore from Linden Foods.

When the team returned home, they were each touched with the need of the East African people and resolved to do something about it. As a result of what they witnessed they have committed to raising a minimum of £200,000 within a 2 year period to purchase a second, larger drilling rig for Fields of Life and also fund the first 25 wells dug with the new rig.
