It's that time of year again... When The Baxter's light up Hertfordshire with their spectacular display of lights all in aid of charity and getting into the festive spirit!
As most are aware we heartbreakingly lost our Beautiful, Generous and slightly bonkers Mum/Wife in September. Life for us will never be the same or as vibrant without her, Christmas this year will be extremely hard for our family.
However we have decided to carry on the tradition of the Christmas lights for her as it was Nikki's favorite event of the year, She loved nothing more than getting everyone into the Christmas spirit, Raising money for charity & also embarrassing her entire family... AGAIN!
We have chosen to raise money for Addenbrookes Charitable Trust (ACT) this year who's funds go towards cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff, environmental enhancements and extra comforts for patients that make all the difference which is just not possible with NHS funding alone.
Addenbrookes is the hospital at which Nikki was treated and we was especially taken back by the care she received whilst in the John Farman ICU. The staff and medical help she received was the very best available, Not only did they take brilliant care of our Mum they also ensured our entire family was looked after. We will be making a special donation from the money raised to this unit.
Nikki liked to go bigger and better with the Christmas lights each year and this one won't be an exception, We promise to make this the best one yet in memory of our Mum/Wife and we would love it if we could also make it the biggest amount of money raised this year too!
Please come along and enjoy the lights with your loved ones.
