Story

At the beginning of the year we thought about what we could do to raise some money for a good cause that's both local, close to our hearts and at the same time a little challenging too! Having only ever ran to catch the ice cream van, Lucy & I decided to test our strength, stamina and marriage by entering the 12km Nuclear Rush challenge on Sunday 17th May.

During my fathers illness he would often spent 3 days a week receiving blood which could take up to 7 hours a day which ultimately improved and lengthened his quality of life. We will be raising money for the Southend hospital day stay unit that really made a huge difference by supporting my father and help made an unbearable time bearable for my family.

We started training today towards what I think will be a real muddy test, great fun and we hope you can help us reach our target by digging deep!!!
