Hi there, welcome to my just giving page!

This year I’ve set out to do something different in the name of a fantastic cause – raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland.

There are currently 11 thousand people living with MS in Scotland alone, each day they are faced with the challenges that the condition brings to their lives. I thought long and hard about what I could do that was enough to honour each of these 11,000 people. 1 race or event didn’t seem enough, so that’s how The Chubby Challenger was born - 11 challenges for the 11 Thousand.

I set out to do 11 different challenges to proportionally represent each and every suffer in Scotland; from Half Marathons, to 12 mile obstacle courses, to throwing myself out of a plane. As a pint drinking, binge eating, pack a day smoker, this is no mean feat for me! (Along with a crippling phobia of heights…).

My Inspiration is drawn from my uncle, Ian Sinclair, who I’ve watched fight this dreadful illness with such strength and determination. Along with my dear family friend, Yvonne, who again has battled on with such admirable strength. Both are true inspirations!

I hope you are able to sponsor me, and help raise vital funds to go towards support for all people living with the condition, and for advancing research into a cure to end this disease. Every penny counts, whether its £1 or £10!
