Myself (Sarah), Joe, Claire and Ryan are running our first ever Marathon together on 3rd April 2022 in Manchester.

After months of training, reaching the finishing line is looking slightly more likely (albeit a massive struggle!!), so with just under 4 weeks to go, we’ve decided to fundraise for a charity.

Due to the current devastating situation in Ukraine, we’ve decided to raise funds to support the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. All funds raised will go directly to the DEC who can then provide the necessary help and support for those affected including providing food, water, shelter and trauma care.

Any donation will help those in urgent need in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. With your help we can support ActionAid and the DEC in scaling up their response and help families to stay warm and protected. Plus, there is no better motivation for us to push through the challenge and complete the 26.2 miles knowing that we have pledged to do so, and your support is behind us.
